Qazvin seminary professor said, " Muharram is the month of bravery, chivalry, anti-tyranny, and fight against discrimination and humiliation, and the essence of the Islamic Republic of Iran is intertwined with Ashura culture."

Hawzah News Agency – Shia Scholar Hujjat al -Islam Ali Abbasi made some remarks at a gathering in the mosque of Muhammad Rasulullah (PBUH) in Qazvin on Saturday, July 30, while condoling the arrival of Muharram Month and the martyrdom anniversary of the leader of the martyrs Imam Hussain (PBUH) and his faithful companions he said, “ Mourning, explaining the different aspects and philosophy of the Ashura uprising, its lessons and blessings in order to attract teenagers and young people toward religious teachings are among the vital tasks that should be properly explained for the younger generation.”

The former director of Qazvin Seminary stated, “The philosophy of Imam Hussain's (PBUH) uprising was based on the religious duty of enjoining the good and forbidding evil, and he did not accept oppression since he chose martyrdom over accepting oppression and humiliation.”

Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi continued, “The uprising of Imam Hussain (PBUH) is a great lesson for the nation of Iran as well as all the Muslims around the world, and as the Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Khamenei always emphasizes, the nation of Iran will never surrender to the threats of Islam adversaries, including the U.S. and the Zionist Regime.”

Qazvin seminary professor concluded by saying that Muharram is the month of epic, bravery, chivalry, anti-tyranny and fight against discrimination and humiliation, and the essence of Islamic Republic of Iran is intertwined with Culture of Ashura.
