Hawzah News Agency – Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Hussein Vahid Khorasani met with the custodian of Imam Hussain (PBUH) Holy shrine, Haj Hassan Rashid Al-Baychi and his accompanying delegation at the end of the mourning ceremony for Imam Al-Jawad martyrdom anniversary in Qom on Thursday, July 30.

At first, referring to Imam Reza's hadith, Grand Ayatollah elaborated on the merits of providing service for religious pilgrims according to Islamic narrations and said, “Who knows what kind of character did Imam Hussain (PBUH) have and what transpired throughout his life?! His shrine is the throne of God, now, who is he himself?!”

Referring to the proximity of Arafa and Arbaeen pilgrimage which lead to the presence of millions of people in Iraq, top Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Vahid considered the reward of serving the pilgrims of Sayyid al-Shuhada (PBUH) beyond comprehension and added, “The reward for serving his holiness’ pilgrim is considered same as the reward for serving Allah almighty. Now you can realize who you are serving. The success that has been granted to you is indescribable and beyond human understating!”

In the end, while thanking and appreciating the efforts made by the custodian of Imam Hussain (PBUH) holy shrine, Shia source of emulation asked for more services and urged facilitating the affairs of pilgrims in the upcoming occasions including the Arbaeen Walk.
