Hawzah News Agency – man said, 'I complained to Abu al-Hasan [al-Kazim] (AS) about a son of mine. He said, 'Do not beat him, but rather ignore him [i.e.depriving him of your company], but not for too long.'

الإمامُ الكاظمُ عليه السلام - عِندَ ما شَكى‏ لَهُ بَعضُهُم إبنَاً لَهُ - : لا تَضرِبْهُ، واهْجُرْهُ ولا تُطِلْ.
