The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Vatican noted: "We have donated this book to the senior officials of the Vatican and in this ceremony we intend to present it to Cardinal Sandri."

He said: The tenth chapter of the book "Relations between Iran and the Vatican" is related to the correspondence that the kings of Iran had with the popes of different periods from the time of the patriarchs; this correspondence goes back to the presence of Shiite scholars and thinkers in the court of the kings of Iran.
