Hawzah News Agency – Speaking about the exhibition in the city of Karbala, Hoj. Seyyed Mohammad Zolfaghari said: “The event started on March 1, which coincides with Eid al-Mab'ath, and will be going on for a week”.
“Officials from Imam Hussein holy shrine have taken the initiative to name Eid al-Mab'ath as the Holy Quran Day in the Islamic world. This exhibition is the second one held in Karbala in collaboration with Quranic institutes inside and outside of Iraq, and other holy shrines”, added Zolfaghari.
He also talked about the presence of different organizations affiliated to Imam Reza holy shrine in Karbala exhibition, noting: “Islamic Research Foundation has presented the ‘Dictionary of Quranic Jurisprudence and Rhetoric’ (in Arabic). Organization of Libraries, Museums and Documents has also presented many precious Quranic works from the museum of holy shrine”.
He continued that the exhibition was a thematic one and different publications of the holy Quran by Behnashr Publications, the holy shrine printing house, Ibrahim Sultan and Baysonghor manuscripts from the Institute of Artistic Creations, and different translations of the holy Quran in Turkish, Azeri, English, Urdu, and Russian languages have been put on display.
To conclude his remarks, Zolfaghari announced the cultivation of stronger ties between Imam Reza holy shrine and the holy shrines in Iraq.
