Hawzah News Agency –The Halal food and beverage market in the UAE is estimated to be worth over $20 billion. It accounts for around 1.8 percent of the global Halal food and beverage market. The UAE is the third-largest importer of Halal food and beverage goods among Muslim-majority countries, with a population of around 9.9 million people.

Meat is one of the most commonly imported food and beverage goods by the UAE. The UAE imports 1.3 billion dollars of beef each year, with Dubai serving as the primary gateway for this type of food commodity. Recognizing the significance of this rapidly expanding market for meat producers in Southern African countries, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry will host a webinar on the Halal Meat Market in Dubai on February 2nd at 12:00 p.m. Dubai time.
