From the bottom of my heart, I am grateful to you for your congratulatory message on the occasion of the beginning of my diplomatic mission as Vatican Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, and your congratulation and beautiful gifts on the occasion of the birth of Christ and the New Year 2022, which I received from Mr. Kouhsari, during a friendly visit to the Vatican Embassy in Tehran.
As the Ambassador of the Holy See and Pope Francis, I am ready to work with His Holiness and other scientific and religious centers in Iran to promote mutual values between Muslims and Christians, and through cooperation and friendship between our religious communities, in order to foster mutual respect and dialogue for the good of Iranian society, the region and all of humanity.
I take this opportunity to renew my respect.
