Hawzah News Agency –The Palestinian resistance factions marked on Monday the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the former Head of IRGC’s Al-Quds Forces, General Qassem Suleimani, and the former deputy chief of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, confirming commitments to the two martyrs’ path pertaining Palestine liberation.
Commanders of the Palestinian resistance factions and senior Gazan figures participated in the ceremony, highlighting the importance of unifying the resistance capabilities in order to pursue martyr Suleimani’s goal of fighting the Israeli enemy.
Hamas Commander, Mahmoud Al-Zahhar, stressed that General Suleimani was one of the basic supporters and funders of the Palestinian resistance in face of the Isralei occupation.
On January 3, 2020, a US drone attack claimed the two martyrs Suleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis after targeting their convoy near Baghdad airport.
