Iran"s Cultural Attaché in Baku

Iran's Cultural Attaché in Baku met with Ms. Narges Ismailava, professor of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan and secretary of the Social Union of Publishers.

Hawzah News AgencyAccording to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Ms. Ismailava, welcomed the very long history of scientific and cultural relationship between Tehran and Baku.

Ms. Ismailava believes that books and reading are very well developed in Iran and are considered among the leading countries, adding by creating this union, we are trying to bring publishers together under one umbrella to enjoy the support of the government and the Ministry of Culture.

Ghorbanali Pourmarjan, Iran"s Cultural Attaché in Baku, while thanking Ms. Ismail Eva for visiting Iranian Cultural Mission in Baku, said the cultural relationship between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan is very old and due to long-standing cultural and religious commonalities, adding that Iranian publishers are ready to have close relations with their counterparts in the Republic of Azerbaijan and to cooperate with each other based on bilateral agreements. The presence of both parties in international book fairs can pave the way for promotion of such cooperation.
