Hawzah News Agency (Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir) - On this occasion, President Anjuman Jamiat Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil (AJUIAK) Ladakh Hujjatul Islam Wal Muslimeen Sheikh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi was the Chief Guest and Ulamas of Ulama Council along with a large number of people were also present.

Prominent Poets of Kargil paid tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) , in Urdu, Purgi, Shina, and Balti languages and Qasidah Khawans also presented Manqabat on this occasion. The poets paid rich tributes to the Grandson of Prophet (SAW) Imam Hussain (A.S) and his companions who were martyred in Karbala.

The Chief Guest on this occasion paid tribute to the sacrifices made by Imam Hussain(A.S) and his companions for the sake of Islam and humanity and its relevance in the present times and stressed the need to follow the path of truth, piousness and righteousness laid by the Imam to bring peace and order in the world.

Speaking on the occasion Shiekh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi said that the lessons of humanity which we received from Imam Hussein (A.S) must spread all over the world. He said, “The message of Imam Hussein (A.S)  is for the entire humanity and we should try to convey it to the world through different means.”

Earlier during the poetic symposium poets paid rich poetic tributes to the martyrs of Karbala through their Hussaini poetic renderings in Balti, Shina, Purgi, and Urdu languages which were highly applauded by the audience.

The Programme concluded with a Joint Special Prayer for peace and communal harmony in the World, Country, and State.
