Israeli occupation police cover Jewish settlers’ tours at Aqsa Mosque for more hours a 'dangerous step'

In a remarks Sheikh Najeh said Israeli police who made decision to extend Jewish settlers tours at al–Aqsa could be dangerous step.

Hawzah News Agency (Occupied Palestine) - Islamic Awqaf Administration in al-Quds warned police cover for Jewish settlers by police is a dangerous step.

Sheikh Najeh Bukairat has said that the Israeli occupation police’s decision to extend Jewish settlers’ tours at the Aqsa Mosque for an additional 45 minutes will be another dangerous step towards dividing the holy site temporally.

In press remarks, Sheikh Bukairat, deputy head of the Islamic Awqaf Administration in al-Quds (Jerusalem), described the Israeli step as “extremely alarming,” warning of Israeli intents to Judaize the Aqsa Mosque in its entirety and impose new faits accomplis at the holy site.

He also warned of Israeli efforts to undermine the Palestinian presence at the Aqsa Mosque under flimsy pretexts through banishing its guards and employees, imposing restrictions on Muslim worshipers and preventing them from entering the Mosque for the Friday prayers.

“The Aqsa Mosque is not divisible by two and cannot be subject to any temporal or spatial division. It belongs to the Muslim nation alone and will remain so forever,” the Awqaf official underlined.
