Israeli forces detain Palestinian youths, Hamas official

Israeli forces detained a Palestinian youth in al - Khalil, on Saturday morning, in the southern West Bank and placed road barriers in several places, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

Hawzah News Agency  (Occupied Palestine) - Israeli forces detained a Palestinian youth in al - Khalil, on Saturday morning, in the southern West Bank and placed road barriers in several places, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

Local sources said that Israeli troops stormed and searched the home of Samih Qufaishe, 21, and detained him from Um al-Daliya suburb in al – Khalil city.

Israeli occupation troops detained two Palestinian youths, on Friday evening, west of Bethlehem city in the central West Bank, the Palestinian Information Center reported.

Local sources reported that Israeli troops detained the two youths, Saif Nader Ibrahim and Wadih Qasim Shaheen, in Beit Jala, taking them to an unknown destination.

A senior Hamas official, Hasan Yousef, 64, was detained by Israeli forces, on Friday, from his home near Ramallah city in the central West Bank, the PIC reported.

Local sources said that Israeli troops stormed Beitunia town and raided Yousef’s home, before taking him prisoner.

Yousef is a former prisoner, having spent nearly 21 years in Israeli jails, mostly under administrative detention.

The Hamas official also suffers from a number of chronic health problems, including high blood pressure and diabetes, requiring specialized medical care.

Troops additionally detained Maher al-Qadi from his home in Beitunia town and his nephew, Nour al-Qadi from his home in al-Bireh city.

The Israeli troops stormed Zububa village in western Jenin, in the northern West Bank, on Thursday night, and detained two youths, identified as Ahmed Jamil Atatira and Zaid Osama Atatira.
