Hawzah News Agency - The American institute “Counter Extremism Project” (CEP), known as a hostile and anti-Resistance Axis Centre, through a report dealt with the spokesman of al-Nujaba’s Islamic Resistance, reported al-Nujaba’s Centre for Communications and Media Affairs in Iran.
CEP website, with a profile for Nasr al-Shimmari, introduced him as “The deputy secretary-general of al-Nujaba, an anti-America figure who has threatened American forces several times across the Middle East.”
The report adds, “Last year, al-Shimmari, a senior member of the IPMF, reiterated that as per the standpoint of his respective organisation, the US is an “enemy”. He called the US embassy in Baghdad as the “Den of Espionage” that launched a soft war against the Shiite values via mobilizing media activists.”
Then, repeating the threadbare claim that the adherence of the secretary-general, spokesman and other members of al-Nujaba to the “Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist” illustrates that they prefer the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq!, the Western institute reiterated, “Nasr al-Shimmari, having visited the secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council, threatened that any Iraqi government which takes a step against Iran will be overthrown in some few weeks.”
The report, in another part, deals with the statement of al-Nujaba’s spokesman issued following the assassination of the top-rank commanders of the Resistance Axis, Shahid Soleymani and al-Muhandis, and points out, “This statement invited the whole Resistance Axis to get united for severe revenge on the US.”
According to the website of the Counter Extremism Project, the statement of al-Shimmari adds, “We will fight the existence of the US and thousands of American forces will be a target for us.”
It should be noted that the CEP institute works with a multi-national appearance and its chief base is in New York, and its other offices are in London and Berlin. It has also cooperated with veteran politicians and senior American diplomats.
The CEP’s CEO, president and executive director all have worked in the White House and the US Department of state, and despite the claim of the institute for being independent, it has links with governmental organisations and radical politicians.
