Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – The message of the great religious authority of the Shia world, Grand Ayatullah Nuri Hamadani, may his blessings last long, to the International Conference of the Quds Day.

In the Name of God, the All-Compassionate, the Most Merciful

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, the Maker of all creations, Who sent the Prophets and apostles. May also blessings and peace be upon the bearer of good news and the warner and the radiant lamp, our master and Prophet (a), Abu al-Qasim al-Mustafa Muhammad (may blessings of God be upon him and his infallible pure progeny), especially the Remaining [Proof] of God in the lands.

Greetings and best regards to that esteemed assembly that has been formed in the presence of the elites and intellectuals in the field of science and politics in defense of Quds Day. Today, one of the issues and maybe the most important issue in the world of Islam internationally is the Holy Quds and Palestine.

One of the valuable points mentioned in the glorious Qur’an is fighting with oppressors and supporting the oppressed,

“Why should you not fight in the way of Allah and the oppressed men, women, and children,” (4:75)

Also, the Qur’an says,

“Indeed, those who have believed and migrated and waged Jihad with their possessions and persons in the way of Allah, and those who gave [them] shelter and help—they are heirs of one another. As for those who have believed but did not migrate, you have no heirdom concerning them whatsoever until they migrate. Yet if they ask your help for the sake of religion, it is incumbent on you to help them, excepting against a people with whom you have a treaty; and Allah watches what you do.” (8:72)

However, unfortunately, human rights and Islamic organizations and some Muslims, especially those who have been printing millions of copies of the Qur’an for years and send around the world and falsely call themselves servants of the Qur’an and the Holy Shrines, have abandoned these verses and disregard them. Also, it should very sorrowfully be said that some of the leaders of Islamic countries are assisting the oppressors and trample the rights of oppressed nations, especially the Palestinian nation, and by their assistance and secret agreements, or with their deadly silence, they strengthen the oppression and Zionism and compromise the principal issue of the world of Islam which is Quds. There are many years that great looking powers been trying to make the Quds issue be forgotten. But, during the last forty years, thanks to the initiative of the great leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini (May the mercy of God be bestowed upon him) and the endeavors of religious zealot Muslims, it has been kept alive in different places of the world, sometimes with restrictions made by some governments; and an arrow has been shot to the heart of this trouble, has disgraced the usurper, child-killing and fake Zionists regime, made the Quds Day a great Islamic day and introduced Zionism as a cancer tumor.

The Quds Day remains the most important International day and this year, with regards to the Coronavirus disease, it should be celebrated following the views of the authorities and observing health considerations in any manner respected officials advise; and everyone should declare his support for Palestinian people and the holy Quds; as well as his hatred for oppressing powers, Zionists and their helpers.

Today, the elites and every free-minded person having conscience should not tolerate this oppression and remain silent. Everyone should make efforts toward regaining the rights of this oppressed nation and returning Quds to Muslims as the beating heart of the world of Islam; and Muslims must pave the way for it through unity and empathy. All the world should know that no one has the right to determine the fate of the Palestinian people except they and the fake regime of Israel must withdraw from the region as soon as possible so that the nations can live together in peace before the establishment of this usurping regime. On the seventy-second anniversary of the Zionist regime's invasion of Palestine, the media is expected to fulfill its mission and bring the crimes committed by this executioner regime toward the oppressed people to the attention of the world, and to fulfill its mission. Israel must know that the time of its destruction has come and Quds will soon be liberated by the Muslim youths and this oppressive regime will be destroyed.

I condemn the tyrannical and Zionist atrocities and their collaborators around the world, especially in Palestine, and once again declare my support and solidarity with all the resistance forces in the region and the oppressed people of Palestine.

In the end, I would like to thank the organizers of this conference and ask God the Almighty for everyone's success.
