Hawzah News Agency (Northern Khorasan, Iran) – Sheikh Hamad Muhammad met with Iranian supreme leader's representative in province of Northern Khorasan Hujjat al-Islam Abolqassim Yaqubi during which he remarked, "The fact that we're highlighting the importance of unity within Muslim community is because we sincerely believe in this matter and consider unity as a fundamental part of every Muslim's belief."

Reiterating that significance of unity is stressed in Quranic verses as well as in Prophet Muhammad's (sawa) valuable teachings, the Lebanese scholar added, "Today, there's a great unity and solidarity among Lebanese scholars and people; this unity comes as a result of looking up to Islamic Republic of Iran as a role model."

Sheikh Muhammad further asserted, "Our purpose of this visit to province of Northern Khorasan is due to our respect for the Islamic Republic for their role in establishing Islamic unity; since Iran is playing a constructive role in maintaining practical unity within Muslim community, we consider it as our role model. We've also heard that the province of Northern Khorasan is regarded as the center of Islamic unity in Iran and followers of different faiths are living in peace and harmony in this province."

Discussing the role of Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution in informing the Islamic world is among the main purposes of Lebanese delegation visit to Iran.
