Hawzah News Agency (Beirut, Lebanon) – Senior Lebanese cleric Ayatollah Afif al-Nabulsi received a group of prominent Lebanese Resistance figures in his office in Beirut on Monday, January 22.

During the meeting, the Lebanese scholar elaborated on the issue of Palestine saying, “recent developments in Occupied Palestinian territories including the escalated fight between Palestinian citizens and Zionist forces is a sign of an upcoming revolution which is going to be more comprehensive and significant than all previous intifadas in the Occupied Territories.”

“What is happening during this new intifada is a result of historic awareness and unified measures which are increasing among Palestinians. The future will prove the correctness of this prediction and manifest such historic wisdom among Palestinian citizens.” Ayatollah Nabulsi said.

“The Zionists are suffering from some sort of confusion since they cannot accept the new progress made by Islamic Resistance forces and their new ways of fighting Israeli plots.” The Lebanese scholar concluded.
