Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – At the 3rd meeting of provincial directors of the Iranian seminaries Hujjat-al-Islam Jamshidi, Head of Iranian Women Seminaries stated, “In recent decades, the seminaries have always been very responsible and active regarding social issues.”
Head of Iranian women seminaries emphasized the great efforts made by women seminaries to reduce social problems and said, “At the women seminaries we have started to work in this area since a long time ago and have implemented two projects called ‘Rizwan’ (guardian of heaven) and ‘Rahmat’ (mercy) with participation of about 7,0000 female clerics who gave advice to people on family matters.”
Hujjat-al-Islam Jamshidi called the cultural and social issues one of the priorities of the women seminaries and added, “One of the other projects performed by women seminaries was the ‘Hayat Tayybah’ (the pure life) that meant to promote Islamic lifestyle.”
Stating that the Iranian women seminaries currently have 42,000 organized female missionaries, the Muslim cleric added, “Empowering female clerics is another cultural plan that is carried out by the women seminaries.”
Hujjat-al-Islam Jamshidi mentioned the national project of the Razavi servants and noted, “The Razavi servants plan that has been performed by 5,000 female seminary students is a very important project to promote Islamic lifestyle and introducing Imam Reza (AS) to the community.”
