Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran)- Mourners of Imam Hussein (A.S.) in Qom, who from the early hours of Ashura Day, mourned in memory of the Highness of martyrs of Islam, reaching the religious noon, performed the noon and afternoon congregational prayer of this day in Lady Masuma (sa) shrine and surrounding streets.
One of the unique effects of Ashura was performing prayer. Imam Hussein (A.S.) in Karbala engagement, and among the clamor of an unequal war, favored on-time prayer performing over anything else, and performed the Ashura noon prayer under the hostile rainfall of oppressive arrows.
The crowd, who reached the shrine of lady Masuma (A.S.) by the time of prayer call, performed the noon and afternoon prayers.
The mourning processions were held in different neighborhoods in Qom, Iran and the Ashura noon prayer was performed in numerous mosques, Hussainiyahs and holy shrines throughout the country to remember the lessons of Ashura.
