Hawzah News Agency (Karbala, Iraq) - On the occasion of the mourning days of Muharram Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Taghi Modarresi made some remarks to a group of clerics and religious preachers in holy city of Karbala.

“Those who speak in the name of Imam Hussain (as), such as scholars, preachers, eulogists, writers, media people or anyone else, should use the lifestyle of Imam Hussain and his precious words and Quran_inspired path.” Ayatollah Modarresi said. “They should use Imam Hussain’s manners to create a strategic plan to save humanity,” he added.

The shia scholar mentioned tragic problems of Muslims in Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Myanmar and said, “Terrorism, civil wars, genocide and enemies’ conspiracies to create dissension and division have surrounded the Islamic Ummah.”

He reiterated, “We hope smart and wise Muslims save this Ummah, those who think of the young people who get killed at these wars and conflicts every day,” he added.

Ayatollah Modarresi further stated, “to stand against these seductions we should seek the solution in holy Quran and prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) way of living.”
