Head of Hamburg Islamic Center condemns Clashes at Al-Aqsa Mosque

"Certainly, prohibiting a group of worshippers to enter their sacred site is a manifest violation of the most basic human rights.” said Hujjat al-Islam Ramezani.

Hawzah News Agency (Hamburg, Germany) – Following the recent inhumane events in the Islamic world including the terrorist bomb blast in Afghanistan, Herat and shutting down al-Aqsa mosque in Occupied Palestine, Head of the European Union of Muslim Scholars and Shia Theologians Hujjat al-Islam Ramezani slammed these events during his sermon at this week’s Friday Prayer in Hamburg, Germany.

During his sermon, Hujjat al-Islam Ramezani condemned Israeli Regime for shutting down al-Aqsa mosque in Occupied Palestine and asserted, “Sadly, this is the first time since 1969 that worshippers have been denied entry to al-Aqsa mosque for performing their Friday Prayers. Certainly, prohibiting a group of worshippers to enter their sacred site is a manifest violation of the most basic human rights.”

“This happens while just a few weeks ago UNESCO declared Al-Aqsa mosque as a cultural and religious heritage for Muslims.” The Shia cleric added.

“Any act to disrespect the sanctity of this holy mosque is against the beliefs of all followers of religions, especially Muslims.” Hujjat al-Islam Ramezani concluded.
