Hawzah News Agency (Beirut, Lebanon) – Ayatollah Afif al-Nabulsi, a senior Lebanese cleric, received a delegation from the seminary of Qom in Beirut on July 15.
During the meeting, the Lebanese cleric urged Muslims to participate in political arenas and remarked, "The whole Muslim community must be present in political and cultural arenas, it’s regarded as a religious obligation. It’s not right to open the field for the enemy so they freely engage in every hostile activity they wish since they are seeking to change our religious, civilizational and demographic features."
Ayatollah al-Nabulsi added, "The axis of Islamic Resistance which spreads from Iran to Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and the Occupied Palestine, serves as a front to fight the enemies. Today, there’s no excuse for anyone to back down in this fight. The whole Islamic community is now faced with very serious challenges on different levels, therefore, it’s expected of all freed men to join their forces and unite their resolve to hit the enemy hard and bring back hope to regional countries."
"The Islamic Republic of Iran is a pioneer in this regard and shares concern over the threats imposed on regional nations. Iran is willing to use all its power and capabilities in order to stop the US and Israel’s plots against the Islamic world."
The Lebanese cleric concluded, "We praise Iran’s influential role in the Islamic world and hail the Iranian leadership as well as its people for supporting all resistance movements in fighting the global arrogance’s conspiracies."
