Hawzah News Agency (Birjand, Iran) – In a meeting with a group of Friday Prayer Imams and clerics from the Iranian Province of Southern Khorasan on Saturday, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Alireza Ebadi addressed the ongoing crimes carried out by arrogant powers in the Middle East as well as the whole world including the slaughter of innocent citizens in Muslim countries and added, "The oppression and crimes which are committed by global arrogance are caused by their disbelief in divine teachings and lack of concern for holy Prophet’s doctrine."

Pointing out that the global arrogance only makes instrumental use of the term religion to carry out their vicious plots and serve their interests, the cleric asserted, “What is currently being propagated as religion worldwide is mere rhetoric; since the foundation of religion and divine teachings is the invitation to promote justice for all.”

Hujjat al-Islam Ebadi further referred to the significant progress made in Iranian seminaries following the victory of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution and concluded, “Today, the Iranian seminaries hold a global status and this proves the crucial role of the clerics, this is the most important thing for seminaries to consider.”
