Leader: Islamic world should take serious stand against oppressors

Leader of Iran warned against numerous cultural influences by enemies and urged the Islamic community to slam oppressors who invade innocent people, including Yemenis, Bahrainis and Kashmiris, in the fasting month of Ramadan.// “IRGC’s powerful attack against ISIL forces in Syria was also a notable measure worth admiration,” he continued.

Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) - Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei has led the prayer of Eid al-Fitr marking the end of holy month of Ramadan. Tehran Great Musalla (Prayer Ground) was hosting thousands of Muslims who are observing Fitr prayer as an important tradition in the Islamic culture.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei will also address the congregation after the prayer touching upon the most important issues of Iran and the Islamic world; "it was also a great job carried out by IRGC in confronting the enemies."

Leader firstly hailed the religious and cultural activities held during Ramadan and urged all to save the spiritual earnings of the holy month as treasures.

Noting the domestic issues, Ayatollah Khamenei commended the nation on massive turnout on presidential election as well as Quds rallies. He highlighted that the massive turnout in Quds Day rallies on last Friday of Ramadan, which took place on a day with an extremely high temperature, was a historic occasion. He asked honorable Iranian nation to be proud of their achievements; “prior to Ramadan, you made an unprecedented presence in the presidential elections and later you proved the country’s greatness to the world by a massive turnout at Quds Day march,” he told the nation.

“IRGC’s powerful attack against ISIL forces in Syria was also a notable measure worth admiration,” he continued.

He then expressed hope for accelerating the process of forming the new government and resuming the activities. Ayatollah Khamenei called on the new Iranian government to seriously purse major issues like domestic production and employment.

Leader of Islamic Revolution, clarified that ‘fire-at-will’, a term he introduced at a recent speech, meant “spontaneous and neat cultural work and not lawlessness or overstatement.”

Touching upon the regional issues, the Leader urged the Islamic world to explicitly support Yemeni people; “Revolutionary forces need to be more careful about order in the country otherwise enemies will take advantage of chaos to their benefit.”

Leader of Iran warned against numerous cultural influences by enemies and urged the Islamic community to slam oppressors who invade innocent people, including Yemenis, Bahrainis and Kashmiris, in the fasting month of Ramadan. He invited the Islamic world, its intellectuals in particular, to announce their stance in a crystal-clear way like Iran does.
