Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani received the authorities of Islamic Seminaries' Office for International Relations in Qom on Tuesday, May 2.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Shia cleric congratulated the audience on the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam al-Sajjad (as) in Sha'ban month and said, "The life of this great Imam has so many lessons for us to learn; in order to introduce the world to Ahlul Bayt (as) one must take these lessons into consideration."
Ayatollah Noori then referred to the book Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, a book of supplications attributed to Imam al-Sajjad (as) and asserted, "The cultural, political and social content in this book are very useful for mankind and thus they must be promoted."
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Shia source of emulation touched on the issue of revolutionary seminary which has been raised by Iranian Supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, and said, "The leader of Islamic Revolution has highlighted the concept of revolutionary seminary and in order to follow his guidelines, it's been decided to hold monthly sessions in the seminary of Qom to discuss different aspects of this issue and ways to realize it."
"Today, we need people who are fully qualified to promote Islam, the Islamic revolution and Shiism worldwide," The cleric added.
"We must tackle the issues of Islamophobia, Iranophobia and Shiaphobia through appropriate measures; In order to promote Islam internationally, one must make serious effort and take real action. "The seminary lecturer concluded.
