Chapter 6: Remove negative labels

You cannot prevent the negative labels but you can choose to remove them. Words are like seeds. If you dwell on them long enough, they will take root and become what was said.

Throughout life, people are constantly sticking labels on you, telling you what you can and cannot become. Sometimes this is good. People speak faith into you. They encourage you. Then there are times that people put negative labels on you. That is the way, the enemy works. He put labels on you to keep you from reaching your highest potential.

Satan frightens you of poverty and prompts you to commit indecent acts, but God promises you His forgiveness and grace, and God is all-bounteous, all-knowing. (Qur’an; 2:268)

 He does not fight you for where you are. He fights you for where you are going. He knows God Almighty has amazing things in your future so he will try to discourage you, intimidate you, and make you feel inferior. Thoughts like: “you are not good enough; you do not have what it takes.” Oppositely say to yourself: “I am strong in the lord. I can.
