Hawzah News Agency (Manama, Bahrain) - Bahraini ulema have issued a statement to urge people to pour on streets to defend Shaykh Isa Qasim on March 9th to 14th.

The full text of the statement is as follows:

In the name of God

“Say, "I only advise you of one [thing] - that you stand for Allah , [seeking truth] in pairs and individually” Surah Saba [34:46] - The Noble Qur'an 

God Himself has urged people to rise in His name. This verse is the key to victory which He has taught to prophets and messengers.

Indeed one cannot purge lands and people without uprising and martyrdom.

Those who seek justice, dignity, and munificence of religion and home country, those who belong to our beloved nation, today is your day. It is your one big chance to fulfill your dreams and wishes. Thus, rise for God’s sake for you shall be granted God’s mercy.

We invite the believers of God’s will to make history on March 9th to 14th, which is the day Shaikh Isa Qasim, symbol of our religious and national identity, will be put to trial. Chant the words of God and cry out “we will not return to our homes” and “defense till death” so that another day will be marked in history as day of defense; defense of our religion, nation, dignity, and munificence. And the day when we stand against oppression, tyranny, and usurpers.
