Hawzah News Agency - Shirani, originally hailing from Deobandi party JUIF, said that when the United States agenda changed, the US administration abandoned using Deobandi seminaries but now our administration was trying to scare the world in the name of Daesh (ISIS).
He predicted a bloody war between Muslims in which Taliban would join the bloc of China-Russia and they would fight Daesh and both parties would claim their war as holy jihad and they use Quranic verses to justify their stance. But, Muslims would be the ultimate victims of their intra-Muslims war because they would be massacred on both sides.
It is relevant to add that Sartaj Aziz, now foreign affairs advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, had written in his memoir Between Dreams and Reality that the US and Saudi Arabia invented seminaries for training of those to be used to fight USSR in Afghanistan in 1980s.

The United States had used Deobandi religious seminaries (schools) for 24 years since 1994 to 2016, said an eminent anti-terrorist Deobandi cleric Mohammad Khan Shirani, who heads Pakistan’s Council of Islamic Ideology as well.
