Chapter 86: Put your Trust in God

Anyone who puts his or her trust in God, he suffices him... Do you trust God enough to believe your set times are coming? "I leave my affair to God; God is the Seer of the servants." (Quran; 40:44)

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) -The Quran is the principle source of every Muslim’s faith and practice, but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures and provides guidelines for a just society, proper human conduct and equitable economic principles. In coming weeks we are presenting some short articles on ethical issues that have been written based on the verses of Quran.

Almighty God promises that there are set times in our future, but He does not tell us when they will be. Your set time may be tomorrow morning. You will get the phone call you have been waiting for. Your set time may be two years from now. You will get a good break that will thrust you to a new level. God Almighty says: “Anyone who reverences God, He will create an exit for him, and He will provide for him whence he never expected. Anyone who puts his trust in God, and then He suffices him. God's commands will be done. God has decreed for everything its fate”. (Quran; 65: 2 – 3) My question is, “Do you trust God enough to believe your set times are coming?” Are you willing to wait with a good attitude? Are you willing to get a new perspective?

Remember, that set time is already in your future. Do not let the negative thoughts talk you out of it. The way you know that you really believe is when you have rest on the inside. You are at peace. You know the answer is on the way. You trust that God is working things out. So “put your trust in God. God is enough for your trust”. (Quran; 33:48) When you choose to trust God, you enter into rest. When you put your faith and hope in Him, you will know that your set time of favor is on the way. So pray to your Lord and say: “I leave my affair to God; God is the Seer of the servants”. (Quran; 40:44)
