Hawzah News Agency (Occupied Palestine) - During the protests held in East Jerusalem al-Quds, the demonstrators demanded the release of the body of Yaqoub Mousa Abu al-Qian, who was killed last Wednesday, January 18.
Israelis claimed Qian rammed Israeli officers with his vehicle and left an officer dead, but witnesses described the Israeli narrative as being fabricated.
The protesters also censured the recent destruction of Palestinian homes and Tel Aviv’s approval of the construction of hundreds of new Israeli settler units in East Jerusalem al-Quds.
Israel’s approval of the settler units comes despite international calls to end the unlawful practice, and a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution condemning them as illegal.
End.
