"Al Saud not qualified to manage Hajj Ritual"

Imam Khomeini's (ra) teachings formed the foundation of our childhood upbringing; his kindness truly influenced our lives," said head of Tunisia's Center for Islamic Research, "

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Sheikh Monir bin al-Habib al-Qabtani paid a visit to the Iranian city of Qom and met with Hujjat al-Islam Najm al-Din Tabasi, a Shia cleric on Wednesday, December 28.

During the meeting, Sheikh al-Qabtani made remarks on the influence of Imam Khomeini's movement as well as the Islamic Revolution throughout the world saying," We regard the late Imam Khomeini (ra) as our spiritual father. During the course of Iran's Islamic Revolution, I was only a child. Since then, I've been raised by learning Imam Khomeini's teachings and ideas; his kindness truly changed our lives,"

Elsewhere in his remarks, head of Tunisia's Islamic Research Center touched on the issue of Hajj pilgrimage and said," In Tunisia, we often speak of the issue of Hajj among Muslims; we believe that the management of Hajj pilgrimage must not be in the hands of Al Saud; this is what late Imam Khomeini (ra) also proposed to the Muslim world. When he suggested that the Organization of Islamic Countries take charge of Hajj, Al Saud felt intimidated; given that Imam Khomeini's proposal was accepted, Al Saud would have lost billions of dollars of Hajj revenue. This is considered as a public rubbery and unfortunately, Muslims have no other choice but to go through with it."
