Hawzah News Agency- In an interview with Hawzah News, Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Hassan Zamani, Chairman of the World Conference against Extremism and Takfiri Movements, stressed the high stature of Imam Hussain's (as) pilgrimage, especially during Arbaeen, adding, "By Allah's grace, the Arbaeen walk has become a truly magnificent ceremony in recent years in which the lovers of the Ahl ul-Bayt (as) from across the world make a journey to Karbala to mourn for the great tragedy of Ashura, by doing so they reaffirm their adherence to Imam Hussain's (as) cause,"

 The Shia cleric added, "Although the majority of Arbaeen pilgrims are Shia Muslims who come from different parts of the world, but a considerable number of our Sunni brothers, who have the love of Ahl ul-Bayt (as) in their hearts, also participate in this great gathering only to make the Arbaeen walk a great opportunity to strengthen the unity among Muslims and their bond with Ahl ul-Bayt (as)."

Stating that Arbaeen walk serves as a plain symbol of fighting arrogance, seeking truth and justice, he went on," Undoubtedly, the popularity of the Arbaeen pilgrimage is its greatest feature which has captured the whole world's attention; however, in recent years, the Western media have attempted to boycott this event, surely they will fail in their vicious plots."
