Ayat. Moqtadayi: Arbaeen Pilgrimage a Symbol of Unity

Stressing that Shia's Arbaeen pilgrimage is developing each year, the vice chairman of Qom's Society of Seminary Teachers said, "Arbaeen pilgrimage to Karbala is a unique phenomenon in Islam as well as the whole world,"

Hawzah News Agency- In an interview with Hawzah, Ayatollah Moqtadayi, a senior Shia cleric in Qom, stated that People's love for Imam Hussain (a.s) and the increasing number of Arbaeen pilgrims go to prove that Allah almighty has blessed this great Imam with divine bounty,"

 

 He added, "Imam Hussain (a.s) sacrificed his life and family to revive Islam and its teachings, therefore, Allah almighty has blessed him with a great reward which is placing the love of Imam Hussain in the hearts of mankind for eternity,"

 

Asserting that divine bounties are everlasting, the vice chairman of Supreme Council of Islamic Seminaries added, "The love of Imam Hussain (a.s) has been deeply rooted by Allah in the hearts of Shia and Sunni Muslims, even the followers of other religions such as Christianity show love and compassion towards this magnanimous Imam,"

 

Stressing that Shia's Arbaeen pilgrimage and the number of its participants is developing each year, the vice chairman of Qom's Society of Seminary Teachers added, "Arbaeen pilgrimage to Karbala is a unique phenomenon in Islam as well as the whole world,"

 

 Ayatollah Moqtadayi then continued to elaborate on two crucial messages of the great Arbaeen pilgrimage adding, "The love and devotion for Imam Hussain (a.s) must lead to understanding the truth and reality of Shiism,"

 

"The great gathering of Arbaeen serves as a reason to prove the reality of Shiism and the fact that it's a divine religious sect, by the grace of Allah the Shias will reach felicity in this life as well as the afterlife,"

 

The senior Shia cleric further asserted, "The second message of Arbaeen pilgrimage is Islamic unity; this great gathering of pilgrims does not solely belong to Shia Muslims since the followers of other Islamic sects and even other religions take part in this ceremony,"

 

"Imam Hussain (a.s) sacrificed his life and the lives of his loved ones to serve the cause of freedom and justice; this is something that will always be admired even by Non-Muslims,"

 

In the end, Ayatollah Moqtadayi concluded, "May Allah bless all the Arbaeen pilgrims in this life and hereafter, and may they all complete their Arbaeen walk in safety and security,"
