Grand Ayat. Makarem Shirazi Calls American Politicians Dishonest, Corrupt

Addressing a group of Seminary students in Qom on the issue of U.S. Presidential elections, Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi said, “Regardless of the outcome of the U.S election, both their presidential candidates are considered as liar, corrupt politicians with criminal records; despite this entire bad reputation they claim the administration of the world! What sorrow awaits the world in which such infamous politicians want to rule.”

Hawzah News Agency- Speaking to a crowd of seminary students during his Kharij-e-Fiqh course in Qom’s Grand mosque on November 9, Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, a senior Shia cleric, made some remarks regarding the recent U.S. presidential elections saying, “Regardless of the outcome of the recent U.S election, both their presidential candidates are liars, corrupt with criminal records and despite this entire bad reputation they claim the administration of the world! What sorrow awaits the world in which such infamous politicians want to rule.”

The revered source of emulation further expressed his sorrow for the ongoing atrocities carried out by Al Saud in Yemen and added, “Yemen serves as a stage to test the entire world’s resolve; a mad regime has been attacking innocent people in Yemen for as long as 19 consecutive months, they have been destroying Yemeni houses, they burn down Yemenis’ buildings, but sadly some other countries are supporting Saudi Arabia to carry on such inhumane crimes,”
