Hawzah News Agency-The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli troops have kidnapped overnight and earlier Tuesday, twenty-two Palestinians, including children and a physically-challenged man, in different parts of the occupied West Bank.
The PPS said that troops invaded and searched many homes, in different parts of occupied East Jerusalem, and kidnapped eight Palestinians.
They have been identified as Waseem Eyad Dari, 14, Amin Rafat ‘Obeid, Issa Mohammad Abu Ryala, Mousa Mohammad Deb’ey, 16, Abdullah al-Qawasmi, 15, Sami Nasreddin, 15, Ehad Ibrahim Srour, 16, and Mohammad Nadi al-Hashlamoun, 18.
In addition, the Bethlehem office of the PPS said the troops invaded ‘Aida refugee camp, north of the city, and kidnapped a child, identified as Daoud Raed Sharara, 13, and a physically-challenged man, identified as As’ad Mahmoud Masa’eed, 52.
On Tuesday at dawn, the soldiers invaded the southern West Bank city of Al-khalil, Beit Ummar and Yatta nearby towns, searched several homes and kidnapped four Palestinians, including a former political prisoner.
They have been identified as (former political prisoner) Yousef Mohammad Za’aqeeq, 26, ‘Ala Israel Awad, 23, Mohammad Khaled Abu Rabea’, 22, and Jawad Ibrahim Nawaj’a.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, the soldiers searched homes and kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Khaled Mohammad al-Masri, 17, and Saher ‘Afeef.
The troops also kidnapped Fares Hamarsha from Jenin, and Amjad Mohammad Abu Sanad, from Tulkarem, in the northern part of the West Bank.
In related news, the PPS said the troops, and police officers, have also kidnapped three Palestinians, in Qabatia town, in Jenin, while working in Jerusalem.
They have been identified as Ahmad Abdul-Latif Zakarna, Khaled Waleed Zakarna and Mahmoud Hani Zakarna.
Also at dawn, the troops, and personnel of the Jerusalem City Council, demolished two buildings in Wadi al-Jouz neighborhood, and al-‘Eesawiyya town, in occupied East Jerusalem.
In Gaza, Israeli navy ships opened fire on a number of fishing boats, in Palestinian territorial waters, in the northern part of the coastal region.
