Hawzah News Agency- Grand Mufti of Croatia met with Ayatollah Arafi, Head of the Iranian Islamic seminaries, in Qom’ during the meeting the Croatian Mufti urged both sides to expand their cooperation in different areas including science and research especially, Islamic sciences and added, “Iran and Croatia stand in the same side in their fights against Takfirism,”

Aziz Hasanovic added, “by expanding our cooperation we would be able to fight the Takfiri groups,”

The Croatian Mufti also expressed his happiness for his trip to Qom and meeting with Ayatollah Arafi, urging both sides to increase their cooperation in different areas as well as holding specialized scientific conferences on Islamic issues,”

Hasanovic then went on to refer to the Muslims’ activities in Croatia, “Since a long time ago, Muslims have attempted to legalize their Islamic activities and it’s been 100 years since the emergence of Islam in Croatia,” Hawzah quoted him as saying.

“today, the Islamic world needs to stand united in order to realize its objectives, the Muslims must be aware that the more they stand united, the better and faster results they would get,”

The Grand Mufti of Croatia at the end of his remarks reiterated that Shia-Sunni relations in Iran are friendly and added, “Iran, as a Muslim country, seeks to strengthen the unity among Shia and Sunni Muslims and that’s a great model for the other Muslim nations to follow,”
