Hawzah News Agency-The Secretary General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Sayyed Nizar Habl al-Mateen, has announced the date for unveiling the new dome of Imam Ali Holy Shrine. Seventeenth of Rabee al-Awal, corresponding to December 17, or the birthday of the Messenger of Allah will witness the long-awaited reveal.

During his tour to inspect the stages of work in the dome project with a number of guests of the Holy Shrine, Mateen explained the details of the work in the holy dome, pointing out that 80% of the project has been achieved.

The secretary-general went on to say, “The considerable unveil should fall on a considerable day, and what day is more considerable than the birth anniversary of the Seal of Prophets, Muhammad.

It is noteworthy that the dome of Imam Ali Holy Shrine is one of the most prominent and historical Islamic monuments dating back to the second or third century.
