The Islamic Community Must Support Bahrainis’ Rights

“According to the international conventions, no governments has the right to revoke its people’s citizenship for false excuses, but unfortunately the United Nations, Human Rights organizations and the international bodies are blind to the crimes being imposed on Bahraini people,” Hujjat al-Islam Akhtari said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Hujjat al-Islam Akhtari added, “Bahraini people demand their legitimate rights which are entitled to as a citizen, but this request has been responded by Bahraini regimes’ ruthless crimes,”

The Secretary General of Ahl ul-Bayt World Assembly further stated, “The Bahrainis, since the beginning of their movement, have pursued a peaceful manner for their demonstrations; they have never shown any form of violence in their protests, but unfortunately Al Khalifah and Al Saud rulers along with their master minders chose to suppress the innocent Bahraini citizens, so far they’ve jailed 160 Bahrainis and have revoked the citizenship of 100 of them,”

He went on, “Al Khalifah regime engage in suppressing the people of Bahrain in the most inhumane way, they even don’t respect Quran and Hussainyas,”

“The Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, made some remarks on Sheikh Issa Qassem’s status saying, “ His movement was so peaceful that in fact the Bahraini regime should’ve been thankful for his keeping the conditions stable and quiet, rather they revoked his citizenship and are going to try him in court,” Hujjat al-Islam Akhtari concluded.
