Al Mustafa

In a meeting with the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon, which was held at the central organization of al-Mustafa University in Qom, the chancellor of the university Hujjat al -Islam Abbasi wished success for Mr. Amani in his new responsibility and said, “Lebanon plays a crucial role in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran; therefore, Ambassadors with outstanding qualities are chosen to serve in this country.”

Hawzah News Agency- In a meeting with the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon, which was held at the central organization of al-Mustafa University in Qom, on Saturday, July 2 during which the chancellor of the university Hujjat al -Islam Abbasi wished success for Mr. Amani in his new responsibility and said, “Lebanon plays a crucial role in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran; therefore, Ambassadors with outstanding qualities are chosen to serve in this country.”

Referring to the important role of Lebanese movements which are interested in the Islamic revolution in enhancing Iran's strategic position in the region, the president of Al-Mustafa University added, “Al-Mustafa University plays an important role in training educated human resources in Lebanon and has always tried to improve the conditions of this country and we always special interest in scientific and cultural activities in Lebanon.”

Hujjat al -Islam Abbasi continued, “In the past, there has been good communication and coordination between the cultural institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lebanon, and even a cultural council was formed centered on the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Since then, various institutions such as al-Mustafa University have an active presence in this council.”

Hujjat al -Islam Abbasi highlighted that Al-Mustafa’s policy both inside and outside the country is to emphasize the principle of approximation, unity and dialogue between religions and said, “For this purpose, Al-Mustafa University welcomes scholars from different Islamic sects and even other religions who study Islamic sciences and education in its representatives inside and outside the country.”

In the end, the President of Al-Mustafa noted, “Al-Mustafa University has played a significant role in training cultural and scientific personnel in Lebanon and is fully prepared to boost cooperation and synergy with other active centers, especially the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lebanon.”

In this meeting, the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon Mr. Amani also praised the scientific and cultural activities of al-Mustafa in all parts of the world, and listed the strengthening of the Cultural Council of Iran's active centers in Lebanon as one of the priorities facing the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this country.
