Hawzah News Agency – The commander of the faithful, Imam Ali peace be upon him says:

إنّكَ إنْ أحسَنْتَ فنفسَكَ تُكْرِمُ، وإلَيها تُحْسِنُ، إنّكَ إنْ أسأتَ فنَفسَكَ تَمْتَهِنُ، وإيّاها تَغْبِنُ.

'Truly if you do good, then it is your own soul that you honour and do good to, but if you do wrong, it is your own soul that you degrade and wrong.'
