This work comes within the framework of participation in the community service provided by the university to support state institutions, cooperation in providing services and dedicating a culture of volunteer work.

Hawzah News Agency –Al-Kafeel University, affiliated to the Education and Higher Education Authority at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, organized a blood donation campaign in coordination with the main blood bank of the Najaf Health Department, in order to contribute to providing a helping hand to patients and hospitals that need blood units, and to promote the culture of giving by the university's staff, and instilling the concept of community service in addition to raising awareness of the health benefits of donating blood.
The head of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the university - which is implementing this campaign - Dr. Hussam Ali Hassan al-Obaidi told Al-Kafeel Network: "The campaign was sponsored by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Nawras al-Dahan, and falls within the annual plan that we prepared, which includes many service and volunteer programs offered by the Al-Kafeel University to the community."
He added that "this work comes within the framework of participation in the community service provided by the university to support state institutions, cooperation in providing services and dedicating a culture of volunteer work, by spreading cultural awareness and the academic role of educational institutions in supporting and assisting societal groups."
Al-Obaidi affirmed that "the university presidency expressed its happiness with this campaign for its lofty message, to provide more blood units for the blood bank, emphasizing the university's keenness and continuity to organize activities that stem from a humanitarian motive, and include moral values by combining efforts for the success of the campaign within the framework of commitment of the university fulfills its noble mission."
At the conclusion of his speech, Dr. al-Obaidi praised the level of demand for blood donation by students and employees of the university.
