Hawzah News Agency – Imam al-Sadiq peace be upon him says:

إذا دَخَلتَ مَدْخَلاً تَخافُهُ فاقْرَأ هذهِ‏ الآيةَ: (رَبِّ أدْخِلْني مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وأخْرِجْني مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ واجْعَلْ لي مِن لَدُنْكَ سُلْطاناً نَصيراً)، فإذا عايَنْتَ الّذي تَخافُهُ فاقْرَأ (آيةَ الكُرْسِيِّ).

'If you enter a place which you fear, then recite this verse, "My Lord! Admit me with a worthy entrance, and bring me out with a worthy departure, and render me a favourable authority from yourself", and if you see someone whom you fear, then recite Ayat al-Kursi.'
