Hawzah News Agency – The commander of the faithful, Imam Ali peace be upon him says:

العَقلُ غَريزةٌ تَزيدُ بالعِلْمِ والتَّجارِبِ.

'Reason is an instinct that is enhanced by knowledge and experience.'
