Hawzah News Agency (Beirut - Lebanon) - Head of Hezbollah parliamentary bloc, Hajj Mohammad Raad, urged all the Lebanese to stick to the national unity in face of the catastrophic blast which rocked the capital Beirut on Tuesday.

MP Raad stressed that this is the time to assume our national responsibility and stifle the sedition aimed at distracting attention from facing the enemy and corruption, not for taking negative stances.

MP Raad also called for a positive cooperation in order to identify the real reasons behind the disastrous blast and maintain justice, asking Allah to grant mercy upon the martyrs and hoping speedy recovery for the wounded.

Two massive explosions went off at Beirut port and rocked the entire Lebanese capital on Tuesday, killing or wounding hundreds of people. The blasts shook buildings and sent huge plumes of smoke billowing into the sky.
