Hawzah News Agency – Imam al-Sadiq (AS) was asked about noble moral traits, to which he replied:

العَفْوُ عَمّنْ ظَلَمَكَ، وصِلَةُ مَن قَطعَكَ، و إعْطاءُ مَن حَرمَكَ، وقَولُ الحقِّ ولَو على‏ نَفْسِكَ.

'Pardoning someone who has oppressed you, repairing broken ties, giving to the one who has deprived you, and speaking the truth even if it is against yourself.'
