Hawzah News Agency (London, UK) - Young Muslims from South London shared their views at a workshop organised with Balham Mosque on 27 July 2019.

Ideas ranged from regular sports activities like football, archery or table tennis organised in or nearby to the mosque, to trips in the holidays, to book clubs, youth clubs, cafes and being a fun place to chill. Whilst on the education side, ideas such as opportunities for being mentored by older young people and tuition/revision classes, alongside the conventional Islamic studies or Quran classes were also shared.

The workshop is part of #OurYouthOurFuture, the theme for the up coming Our Mosques Our Future conference, which this year is taking place on 12 October 2019. More workshops are planned and any mosque interested to host a workshop is welcome to get in touch.
