The vice president of The Supreme Islamic Shi'a Council of Lebanon said,” Iran's response to Israel's attack on its consulate in Damascus is the country's legitimate right.”

Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Ali Khatib, the vice president of The Supreme Islamic Shi'a Council of Lebanon, stated,” Iran's response to Israel's attack on its consulate in Syrian capital of Damascus is the country's legitimate right. This response proved that Iran is a powerful country and does not pay ransom and does not neglect its rights and defends the honor of its people and its national sovereignty with pride and strength, even though it leads to a lot of sacrifice.”

He further noted that we praise the courage and tact of Iran's leadership in explaining the goals and its timely response; This behavior stems from their desire to deter the Zionist regime; A regime that continues to commit crimes and terrorize innocent civilians and violates international treaties and religious and moral laws.

While condemning the open support of the countries to the Zionist regime, he stated that such behavior leads to the encouragement of this regime to massacre, kill and displace Palestinians, who are therefore complicit in Israel's crime.

Expressing that the Zionist regime is a usurper entity in this region and has no future here, he added,” I hope they have learned a lesson.”

In response to the Israeli terrorist attack on Iran's consulate building in Syria on April 1, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked targets in occupied Palestine with dozens of drones and missiles early on Sunday.
