The representative of Qom in Iranian parliament said,” Qom health town project will create a significant progress in the healthcare system of Iran.”

Hawzah News Agency- Qom thousand-bed hospital is getting more complete and closer to operation, many officials of the province have visited this project, and in the last visit, Hujjat al-Islam Ravanbakhsh and Mohammad Manan Raisi, elected members of Qom Province in Iranian parliament, along with Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Mahmoud Nabavyan, the current member of the parliament visited the latest status of the project.

After visiting parts of the hospital, Mohammad Manan Raisi, the representative of Qom in the parliament, said in a press conference, “This project is considered to be one of the special projects not only of Qom province, but of the whole country; God willing, when the project is put into operation, it will be the largest hospital complex in Iran. The thousand-bed hospital is unprecedented in Iran, and the facilities and scale of the project make it truly special.

The Qom project is transnational

Raisi further pointed out that this project has a transnational capacity and noted,” in fact, this project is considered trans-provincial with its scale and size and can even be transnational. This means that it has volunteers from other countries and acts as a tourism center. Provisions for this purpose have been foreseen in the project.

He added,” This project is not just a hospital, but a town, and a hotel, shopping center, university and other facilities are planned for this.”

Raisi emphasized,” God willing, if the small obstacles are removed, a significant step will be taken in the healthcare system of the whole country.”

Our duty is to support these projects

In response to the question of how such projects can be supported, he continued,” Such a project will definitely help the country's health system. Of course, I have a civilized view and I am more eager to follow such projects that are focused on treatment, to also pursue issues related to prevention and reforming people's lifestyles. Although we had many achievements because of modern medicine; But this metropolitan lifestyle has also created problems. The high statistics of heart diseases, blood pressure, diabetes, etc. are the result of this type of lifestyle, and for this reason, efforts should be made to reform the lifestyle so that, these hospitals will not be packed with patients. But in any case, according to the current situation of Iran, such projects are necessary and our duty is to support them.”
