Who’s sabotaging the Arab relations? Those taking stance from the aggression on Yemen, or those launching an intense military aggression 7 years now?

Hawzah News Agency – Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah lashed out at accusations that Hezbollah was seeking to win a two-thirds majority in the new parliament as absurd and unrealistic, lashing out at the US embassy and electoral rivals of seeking to postpone the parliamentary elections.

“Nobody thinks that winning two thirds of seats in the next parliament is a realistic and logical objective, we are certain that the country is based on understandings,” Sayyed Nasrallah said in a televised speech on the latest political developments on Monday.

It’s rightful to accuse the US embassy of seeking to postpone the parliamentary elections, Sayyed Nasrallah said, adding that the electoral rivals have scattered into numerous lists.

Addressing Hezbollah supporters, Sayyed Nasrallah said: “We are fighting an electoral battle, we should actively take part in the electoral ballot boxes. Our objective is securing success of our candidates and allies.” His eminence, however, warned that polls and estimations should not affect the efficacy and enthusiasm in all districts.

Sayyed Nasrallah made it clear that Hezbollah is keen on the representation of all parties based on their true sizes, “we’re not after eliminating anyone. Proportional representation law’s nature does not allow for the elimination of anyone.”

Refuting all allegations of deceit in electoral alliances, Hezbollah’s S.G. said: “We are clear and transparent in our alliances, we don’t make anything under the table.”

“We’ve never been exclusionists; our rivals have always been so. They did not care about the absence of an entire sect,” Sayyed Nasrallah said. “The exclusionists are those who bet on the crushing of the resistance and its environment during July 2006 war. The exclusionists are those always presenting themselves to foreign countries as being ready to incite a civil war to crush others.”

Sayyed Nasrallah lashed out at these parties and their accusations against the resistance by saying: “How could you speak of an arm control over the political life when you had so far secured parliamentary majority and formed governments! Why hadn’t those deluding Lebanese -that the resistance weapons are the reason for the profound crisis- spoken of corruption and economic policies for 30 years?!”

“Those hitting out at the resistance’s arms are only aiming to appease US, West and some Arab regimes to win financial support,” Sayyed Nasrallah, affirming that the resistance is the one protecting the country through the balance of deterrence equation with the enemy.

“We’re not after the state’s protection as some allege,” His eminence said, adding that some sides are trying to disarray Hezbollah’s electoral slogan. “We didn’t ask for the state’s protection, but we don’t want anyone to use the state to stab the resistance in its back!”

Regarding the Saudi aggression on Yemen, Sayyed Nasrallah wondered: “Who’s sabotaging the Arab relations? Those taking stance from the aggression on Yemen, or those launching an intense military aggression 7 years now?

“Yemenis imposed their will on the international community with their steadfastness and defiance, we hope that the truce will be an entry point towards a political solution,” Hezbollah’s leader indicated. “We welcome a truce in Yemen. We’ve always called for an end to the war and massacres, yet nobody is seeking to target Saudi Arabia,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.

His eminence advised the Saudi rulers not to bet on negotiating with anyone other than the Yemeni Supreme Political Council and the Ansarullah movement. “The only way to a political solution is to negotiate directly with these sides only, do not expect any of their friends to pressure them.”

Sayyed Nasrallah began his speech addressing the families of Palestinian martyrs, hailing and congratulating them on their decisive stances against the Israeli occupation. He voiced an absolute support to the Palestinian people and resistance, vowing partnership with them in resistance and in victory.

Addressing those doubting the Palestinian resilience, Sayyed Nasrallah said: “If you think that the Arab official failure vis-a-vis the Palestinian cause will lead to the retreat of the Palestinian youth, you’re delusional. If you bet on the Palestinian people’s desperation and frustration, you’re delusional.”

“We stand with honor and glorification before the families of the martyrs, their decisive stances, and the steadfastness of this patient and struggling people despite the long history of massacres,” His eminence said, pointing out that generations of Palestinian youth inherit resistance and the will to fight generation after the other.

Sayyed Nasrallah reminded that the resistance in Lebanon has succeeded in imposing a balance of deterrence, saying “the equation of protecting civilians from the Israeli aggression is still upright thanks to the resistance.”
