The Center for African Studies of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a celebration on the occasion of the birth of the savior of humanity.

Hawzah News Agency – The Center for African Studies of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a celebration on the occasion of the birth of the savior of humanity, the Awaited Imam al-Hujjah (may God hasten his holy reappearance), in cooperation with the Forum and Association of Students of the servant of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), Sheikh Ibrahim al-Zakzaky, and in the presence of a group of African students of religious sciences.
The ceremony, which was held in the Center's Hall in Najaf Governorate, began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a speech by the organizing party, delivered by Mr. Muslim al-Jaberi, which he began by congratulating the attendees on this great occasion, stressing the need to revive it and take it as a starting point for more adherence to the cause of Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his holy reappearance), as well as to further expand its knowledge and culture and work to spread it and strengthen its rooting beliefs, as it is one of the most important belief foundations.
This was followed by Sheikh Ahmed Mo'adh, in which he expressed his thanks and gratitude to the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and the Center for African Studies, for hosting this forum in addition to what it offers to African students of religious sciences, followed by a speech by the guest of the ceremony, delivered by Sayed Abdul Muttalib al-Mousawi, in which he spoke about many themes about the Mahdawi cause.
After that, a number of Sheikh Zakzaky's advice to African students was read to the audience, delivered by Sheikh Muhammad Rabi' Balu.
The ceremony included chants and joyful religious recitations, which were presented by two singing groups of African students from Karbala and Najaf.
At the end of the ceremony, the chief African student, Sheikh Zain al-Abidin Abdullah, representing the association, thanked the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and the Center for their sponsorship of such events and religious forums.
