Sheikh Zakzaky, great model for freedom -seekers: AQR chief custodian

Briefed by the family of Zakzaky over his health, Hoj. Marvi said: “The question of Zakzaky is a main concern for the Islamic Republic of Iran and Leader Ayatollah Khamenei”.

Hawzah News Agency - (Mashhad - Iran) - Sheikh Zakzaky’s endeavors and sacrifices to promote Islam is worth introducing him as a model for the Islamic society, said Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, Astan Quds Razavi’s chief custodian in a meeting with Sheikh’s daughters at Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine.

Briefed by the family of Zakzaky over his health, Hoj. Marvi said: “The question of Zakzaky is a main concern for the Islamic Republic of Iran and Leader Ayatollah Khamenei”.

Highlighting Zakzaky’s influence on African nations, Marvi said: “Sheikh did a great job in Africa and could teach tens of thousands there; that’s why Islam’s enemies attacked him and his followers”.

He added: “Zakzaky’s revolutionary ideology cannot be destroyed. Foes are so stupid to think that killing of influential leaders will finish their path as Yazid thought that martyring Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions would be the end of Villayat and Imamate school of thought”.

Referring to him as the ‘Khomeini of Africa’, Marvi remarked: “Sheikh Zakzaky did a lot of great job for Islam and his endeavors and sacrifices can be a real model for the freedom seekers in the world; the thought Zakzaky triggered in Africa is flourishing day by day”.

The Nigerian Shia cleric, Sheikh Zakzaky, and his family have endured lots of afflictions. Six of his sons were killed by the army forces, and the Sheikh himself is in a tyrannous arrest now.

Elsewhere, AQR chief custodian stressed: “AQR will do its best to introduce Sheikh to the world as it recognizes him as an excellent model for the youths, clerics and the entire society. Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine establishment will also take its greatest efforts to get Razavi pilgrims familiar with Sheikh Zakzaky’s character and thoughts”.
